Create Damage Type

Step 1 - Enumeration Entry

If the damage type is reduced by a resistance that does not yet exist, a new entry must be added to E_DamageTypes.

Step 1 - Damage Type Class

Create a child bp from DT_Base and add all resistances that reduce this damage type to ReducedByResistance.
(If you add more than one resistance the damage component will calculate a average, e.g 100 fire resistance and 200 shock resistance will result in 150 overall resistance to that damage type)

Define if the damage can crit and name the damage type.

Step 3 - Damage Color (Widget)

Add a new damage color by adding a parameter to “Collection_DamageColors”.
The name of the parameter must match the name of the damage type.
